WELCOME BACK, TexKat!!
My experience with dealers is they often start out small and one thing leads to another. Considering his arrogance, I am sure he would want to be bigger rather than smaller. And if he is dealing coke, he could pull in plenty. Pot and mushrooms are legal in Holland and probably on the island...and sell at a lesser price.
If he wants to get his cash into the bank, he needs a source of income (other than dealing that is...though in Aruba, I'm not sure if anyone really cares.)
I imagine the only reason Aruban banks care is that they have correspondent relations with banks in the U.S. and Holland and their correspondent banks are subject to audit and by extension, so are the Aruban banks (though to a much less degree). By the way, Jossy's family own Interbank.
scenario.....
I'm a drug dealer with a wad of dirty cash......you abd a dozen other street-urchins each go to the casino and lose 10k of my cash to a certain dealer in a certain "casino floor apartment". In return I will pay each of you 200 dollars for an hours work.
moral.....for 2400 bucks, I have cleaned 120k halfway......now, when I go to the "casino floor apartment" and WIN 120k dollars, I tip the dealer.
By the way, Mr Casino-owner.....please give me the 120k as a clean certified check, as I cannot travel with that much cash.
simple as that.
And aruba thrives on it.
" Jug confirms that Beth was told by the prosecuter that Joran has 9 attorneys. Says he knows how expensive one attorney is and the H/T family have no offers of free services from any attorneys, so he leaves it to us to decide what's going on with Joran having 9 attorneys and who is paying them. "

I found this on SM a couple of days ago. Is Frank Rizzo the guy who has been hired by PVDS? Can anyone here find the original story on Aruba Today? My computer needs to be re-booted and I wanted to post the link before I loose it.
I miss TexKat too and hope all is well with her!
It feels like "mom's home!!!" Everyone straighten up now ;)
Yeah, Joran will be heading there soon. Of course his 18th birthday wasn't pleasant so he deserves a little vacation and what safer place could he go.
Ahhh...thank you.
I can see how an amoral young punk in Aruba might prefer that to flipping burgers.
Hey T,
I appreciate your kind words and encouragement. If everyone in this world learn to laugh a little more, maybe we could have more peace in our lifetime.
There is an old song by the 'Chilite's" in which they sang,"there will never be any peace until God is sitting at the "Conference Table."
Take care and time for me to get back with some lead on the thread. NSNR
I always wondered how that worked....pretty interesting scenario
Good explanation!

CG,
Zero upset and have no feelings to hurt. I lost them in 1991 and really have no use for them. They tend to impend one's logical thought process in motion.
Now dear Lady, please give me a high five through the monitor and "everything will be everything."
We are now cool, calm and collective.
Cordially Your's,
NSNR-IM
Why are you speaking European english?
I did notice that you always add that at the end of your posts, but to think that I would quote you is ridiculous. Are there any more words in the above quote that you want to claim?? Perhaps you'll say "it feels good' is quoting you?
"Are there any more words in the above quote that you want to claim??"
I think not.
