Sounds like PVDS still has considerable clout for ALE to be getting involved with a statement Tim Miller made... geeze. Maybe Tim can get on the radio & every t.v. program in Aruba & internationally and keep asking the question, "Why hasn't the ALE insisted on searching the VDS property (their old well/cistern in the backyard) with cadaver dogs and Equisearch equipment?" And better yet, "Why is the ALE trying to intimidate me?"

I saw a burned-out station wagon with some yellow paint remaining on the right gront fender.....it was footage playing while Greta was talking about the searchers habing done something wrong, just as she finished with Hutson.....between the car and the camera, someone was scanning the ground with the ground penetrating radar device....the car was in the backgroubd bext to a garage or other bldg !! I'm absolutelt certian of the yellow and 95% certain it was a station wagon.

It is a matter of what Natalee had experienced, not where she lived. I doubt Natalee had ever knowingly met an evil predator before. It's as simple as that.

Poor judgment is not reserved for the young - every age uses poor judgment, at times. And all ages party and have fun.

What would you say if the following happened while you are driving and you make a turn - and someone hits you. Would you say you used poor judgment of would you say I didn't see the car coming, it came out of nowhere, they went through a red light, or they were speeding?

No, No, I'm not going to stop it. You need to understand something here...There are still a lot of innocent young people in this world whether you like it or not for the purpose of your positions taken on this topic. Birmingham is a much more laid back and friendly part of the country than the cities you mentioned along with it. In most of those cities you hear about rape and murder on a daily basis. You do not in Mountain Brook. I have a 19 year old living in this house that does not watch the news. I would be willing to bet that most 18/19 year olds don't either unless stories like these are an everyday occurrence.

Yeah, I read the post you responded to and can very much identify with it. I agreed with that post. I live in a small town and I know I don't hear about rapes and murders everyday in this town.

As far as what you believe about Mountain Brook or Birmingham, that's up to you. But to compare them to those cities is not even close. How many trips have you made to Birmingham...honestly? How long did you LIVE in Birmingham...honestly? I really don't know that you can speak to the mindset of people who live there unless you live there yourself.

How does a story without one shred of physical evidence, no crime scene and no body continue to dominate.
Just south of our border hundreds of Mexican women have been raped and murdered within a 50 mile stretch over the last two years.
In the Congo, children are abducted by force and made into slaves to pick the leaves that are the basis of the chocolate that we buy every day. As soon as the young female slaves are thought to be desirable they are sold into the sex industry and made into prostitutes.
Does the disappearance of one white girl overshadow the death and enslavement of thousands of darker skinned females?
If you read all the stories about Aruba and notice the total lack of concern about the rest it appears if they aren't white, they don't count!!!!!

Once again you continue to rant without any basis in fact. You claim "facts" supporting Joran being innocent but present none and you never answered the following:

....Those are not rumors, most are fact and well reported. Why were the security guards arrested? Why were they released? Why were the Kalpoes arrested then released? So what does it take for you to believe something is a fact and not a rumor? So your idea that the MB people are involved is based on what facts? What evidence or facts point to anyone but the three?

Thruthluva, that isn't the point. It is irrelevent which city is the safest. As to Birmingham, I simply used it first because that is close and I am sure they have their trouble. I believe you, Mountain Brook is probably a great place to live. The point was that the poster suggested that these girls were thrust into a world they didn't know about, a place where women were stalked and preyed upon. The last statement is laughable, the USA is the capial of women being stalked and preyed upon. I have a 21 year old daughter and a week rarely goes by that I don't e-mail her something that can possibly make her aware of a potential danger. Do not tell me that Beth Twitty didn't caution Natalee before she left and she wasn't using Aruba as an example either. If she didn't warn her about dangers then shame on her.

This happened...well, at the time I saw them bury her..it turns out that was the body of Natalee...the girl I thought at the time it was just a piece of a coconut tree..that is what I thought It was wrapped in plastic, covered in plastic but there was a breeze and then the bag sorta fell half way out and I saw half the body naked

Yes, and how did Trappenberg word it about the destoryed turtle nests? Something like smashed and scattered? It sounded more like intentional destruction by a vandal instead of damage done by the search team. He even left some wiggle room saying they didn't know for sure who had done it.
