Dubya's already made I believe over 100 recess appointments.Really? I didn't know that. Got a link?
I guess this recess is just another in a long line of Presidential "abuses of power". /S off

I wonder what HT will do? Suicide watch!

Oh darn. Now the Democrats will be angry and uncooperative. Shoot! Really. Wonder what that's going to be like. Probably really unpleasant.

I'm sure Chucky Schumer has already scheduled a press conference with one of Bolton's former staffers There should be a Surgeon General's warning before any chuckie schumer news conference, that states any innocent person who is the path of the tv cameras and microphones, should get out of the way because of the danger of getting trampled by chuckie.

THIS is why I voted for Bush!
THIS is why I will no longer vote for any Republican running for the Senate!
That said, I wonder who is the most upset. The Senate Democrats or the Senate Republicans. I am sure Frist and company are worried that the Senate leadership will blame them.

No sense in gaining power if you're not going to use it.

Just watching the msm is enough fun! I love it when their heads explode.

I think the path should be clearly marked so no innocent folks get trampled.

THIS is why I voted for Bush! THIS is why I will no longer vote for any Republican running for the Senate! Some of the ridiculous comments on these types of threads, Ma (yes, Bar-face, I'm referring to yours), just really crack me up. Frighten me, but also crack me up. :-D

Did it seem to you that she was setting up the old "abuse of power" charge that will undoubtedly be lobbed at W. today by all dems.? It seemed the talking points began with that stupid, obviously feined question of hers.

I like this from your link. Folks may or may not know this:
How Long Does a Recess Appointment Last?
A recess appointment expires at the end of the Senates next session or when an individual (either the recess appointee or someone else) is nominated, confirmed, and permanently appointed to the position, whichever occurs first. In practice, this means that a recess appointment may last for up to nearly two years. If the President makes a recess appointment between sessions or between Congresses, that appointment will expire at the end of the following session. If he makes the appointment during a recess in the middle of a session, that appointment also will expire at the end of the following session. In this case, the duration of the appointment will include the balance of the session in progress plus the full length of the session that follows.
The librats really stepped in it. It's never gonna come off!
BWAAAHAHAHAHAA!!!
