Saying the Shuttle will be hit by a meteor shower because its staying in orbit longer.
To: BurbankKarl
The end is always near on Coast to Coast.
Paranoids are their market, and they do quite nicely in their niche.

Well - at least we have a date to look at and say yes or no. Instead of the usual "sometime in the future...".

Is Ed going to be talking about transporter travel using hookers like the skit Phil Henry did?

Does he mean that it'll be hit by this meteor shower or by "space junk?" Because they control all the space junk, you know.
Or...you know what? China has time to launch something into orbit. I bet that's it.

"opps - now he says it could be 2 years before the end...." ;-)
One of my favorite movies (it might have just been a twilight zone) was the lonely guy/scientist that notices how red the moon his. Calls his friend in Japan - no answer - just static. The guy figures out it is a solar flare "kill shot" with the red scorched earth reflecting off the moon. With only 10 more hours before his city gets hit - he goes down to the library to finally ask the librarian for a date.
