In the UK we prefer mint sauce to mint jelly which is just fresh chopped mint and vinegar with a little sugar if desired and I sometimes add a little water to tone down the vinegar taste. Or you can buy it in a jar in a concentrated form which you just add vinegar/sugar and in my case a little water to taste. Used to get mint jelly as a child but is not often stocked nowadays by all supermarkets.

Hi everyone (late as usual). thanks for weekend Dose wolfstar with a stellar selection of pix/comments.. and your "additions" are always fun ohio.

Had a nice get together with Just Amy, Mama_bear; and Dutchess yesterday at Columbus airport. couple hour chat of misc fun until they left. abutting the airport runways I tripped upon a very old (turn of century) pet cemetery. Spent hours there looking & photographing.

we will be posting a thread next week.. hope you Deb & ohio will contribute any comments & pix along the way. If you would like to write something to be included in theh body of the thread, that would be great - just get it to me & I will make sure it is incorporated.

LONG couple days here. .mowing lawn with long extension cords (electric mower & needing 500+ feet) is always challenging.

Leaving the WH earlier this evening on his way to the Jamboree. He looks REALLY, REALLY GOOD in that simple white shirt and dark slacks.

The smirk that tweaks the media every time. I wonder what he's thinking here.

Thanks to both of you for adding the Boy Scout photos! "Our" guy sure is looking fantastic! I've noticed comments about his shirt and I had to chuckle. I wonder if either of his girls chose it, trying to "update" Dad? My daughter does that to both my husband and my son!
