An Internet adage that addresses people's tendency to compare their rhetorical opponents to Hitler / Nazi Germany.

First one to say Nazi on a thread loses the arguement. This thread was lost before it started.

Google it, it's worth the read, but Lefties are so twisted and dishonest that it turns out, -Godwin's Law only applies to -Conservatives-,

It's confusing, but Godwin's Law doesn't APPLY to the Lefties.

They get to bandy about the Hitler references til the cows come home.

Godwin's would be a good law, -IF- the Lefties were forced to abide by it.

Godwin's law (also Godwin's rule of Nazi analogies) is an adage in Internet culture that was originated by Mike Godwin in 1990. The law states that:
As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1 (i.e. certainty).

After typing in "godwin's law" into google, it took 4 seconds for that to pop up.
Took a lot longer to cut it and paste it here.
