Judging by that picture, it's past time to wean that child (it's not a baby any more) from the teat.
It's really none of your business. It is recommended to nurse a MINIMUM of a year.
You can't judge by size. My fourth baby was born at 23 inches long. He's always been a big boy. All my boys are big.
