Delusional analysis like this is great news for conservatives. The Liberals simply can't see Hillary for the Marxist Nightmare she is. But the voters have no such vision problems.
It ain't rocket science.
Hillary is a sure bet for the Democratic nominee in '08. She will get the liberal vote and the womens vote, no matter what they say now. Mrs Clinton will look moderate enough to sway the 1/3 that are not R or D. She wins with a solid plurality. The only thing that can stop her is a Republican minority candidate like Colin Powell, or Condoleeza Rice.
Why can't she win? Because people who have never voted and never intend to vote again will show up at the polling sites to vote against her like they're cashing in a winning lottery ticket.
I've never seen a good photo of Jacob's face. The only ones I've ever seen are the ones in which he has lip lock on her ample posterior.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if the sensible people of New York took the air outof her baloon, by voting her out of office in 06? I can dream can't I?
The "real" Hillary is closer to Howard Dean than Bill Clinton
The real Hillary is really closer to hell and her father Satan.
I wouldn't bet on it.
In fact, neither will people who bet on it with actual money.
Tradesports is a trade exchange futures clearing house which has had an almost perfect record in "predicting" such outcomes. In 2004 for example, it called the Election results correctly in 49 of 50 states, including the Senate.
For 2008, the odds have Hillary leading the rest of the Democrat pack by 5-1. She is practically unstoppable for the nomination. It also has the Democrats (read, Hillary!) winning the Presidential Election with favorable odds 50.3 vs 48.1 for the GOP. Granted, it's still early. But these are very uneasy indications of the investor mood out there. The smart money is betting on a Hillary win.
Be afraid. Be very afraid!
"Liberals simply can't see Hillary for the Marxist Nightmare she is. But the voters have no such vision problems."
Your analysis is right on the money!!
Exactly. Or memory lapses...As if no one's going to remember the attempt at socialized medicine that she led under her husband.
But she still lacks a key quality that a politician can't achieve through hard work: likability. As hard as she tries, Hillary has little facility for connecting with ordinary folk, for making them feel that she understands, identifies, and is at some level one of them. You may admire and respect her. But it's hard not to find Hillary a bit inhuman.
I don't think so...in fact, as far as I can tell, Hillary has no real political beliefs in anything beyond the acquisition of power. I think the far leftists see that as well as we do. It's the murky middle that really never follows politics that get easily confused.
Because she doesn't like to campaign and really never has yet. A lot of folks seem to forget how she was pretty much given her Senate seat. Her campaign kept her pretty much insulated from the realities of a traditional campaign: her audiences were carefully structured, her press interviews carefully planned out, etc. Everything was carefully orchestrated.
She could never run a presidential campaign in that way.
After hearing Hillary give one or two shreeky speeches, the general public will want to put their hands over their ears.
I mean, c'mon. Did ya ever hear Hillary try and raise her voice to an emotional pitch, which is what any good presidential candidate must do constantly. A good speech giver she aint. Her voice is grating on the nerves.
And this time Hillary can't count on the New York 70-30 percent registered Dem voter edge to carry her over the top.
