THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! A special "thank you" to everyone who has called or written 630 WMAL on my behalf. You have left the entire organization stunned and amazed. And you've done the impossible--left me speechless.

I don't have definite numbers, but based on specifics that I have been able to gather from various sources, a total of around 10,000 emails were sent to the various email addresses at 630 WMAL. It's PHENOMENAL. And more importantly, it blew away the few hundred pro-CAIR emails and phone calls the station received.

Just so you know, it's working. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, and it's may not be a train. I have not been contacted by the station, but the back chatter is getting much more positive. And it's all because the listeners have spoken.

SO WHAT HAPPENS NEXT? I am off all this coming week for a long-planned vacation and work session with a charity I support. I don't want to mention them now and drag them into the controversy, but I'm very excited about what I'll be doing next week.

And yes--next week's vacation has been on the calendar for months. I'm just laughing like crazy about the reports that somehow my suspension is a stunt.

Trust me: CAIR is not playing games. They are making threats and shaking down our advertisers and trying to intimidate everyone concerned. The worst part is that, in the past, it has almost always worked for CAIR. They've managed to scare a lot of people into silence.

But not everyone.

However, to keep them from succeeding in their stated objective of getting me fired, I need your help. I'll be travelling next week and will have a hard time monitoring the mainstream press, the CAIR website, etc. Please, please, PLEASE email me with anything you see or hear about CAIR, their threats against my station, etc., etc.

Thanks for your help. If we stick together, we can we a great victory for freedom of speech and common sense.

Although I disagree with Michael (Freeper Nom de Guerre = 'Suspects') on some issues, I've been an avid listener for several years now, beginning when he covered the D.C. sniper shootings for 570 AM, and I wholeheartedly support his stand against illegal immigration and government coddling of said illegals, and his no-BS assessment of modern Islam. As we all know, CAIR is a terrorist front organization that has bullied not only Hollywood into 'submission' (hence no movies with Islamic terrorists since 9/11), but is also going after conservative talk shows with a cunning strategy that involves intimidating spineless, PC suits at the corporate level and station advertisers. Michael has helped exposed CAIR for what it is (along with Daniel Pipes), and CAIR retaliated by successfully calling for and facilitating his suspension, and then urging his outright firing (give an inch, take a mile). The ABC Radio suits and 630 WMAL managers caved, and Michael was suspended without pay. Fortunately, his listeners, many of whom are fellow Freepers, rushed to his defense yesterday and flooded the station with over 10,000 phone and email messages expressing outrage at his supsension. As you can see here, he will be going on a planned vacation this week, but needs our help in watching CAIR (http://www.cair-net.org/) and its movements against him in the coming week. I hope that everyone will chip in and help in this endeavor since CAIR has the total subjugation of the U.S. to Islam as its ultimate goal, and needs to be thwarted in its campaign against conservative media.

A few years ago, in my hometown, the local arab bigwig tried to get a local DJ fired when he dared speak ill of the "Religion of Peace". This arab owned one of the bigger businesses in town, so he carried a lot of clout. The station manager impolitely told him where to shove it. Conversely, at the same station (this station carries Rush, Hannity, Savage, et.al.) one of their DJ's started whining about the war in Iraq and how it was all Israel's fault. He, likewise, was impolitely shown the door.

I'm hitting the list of advertisers EVERY DAY that michael graham is off the air with an email regarding this issue. How the islamic apologist organizations are understandably upset because michael graham allowed them to come on the air and he evicerated their shallow rhetorical arguments in the public forum. How much I admire Mr Graham for having the COURAGE to do so even if it risked his job. And how my disappointed I am in the decision of this management to submit themselves to dhimmitude under pressure from the islamic censors.

It seems that our conservative radio station is about speaking the truth to power until that power retaliates, then they fold like a cheap tent.

I just sent them the following note:

Please reconsider Michael Graham's suspension from his show. It is a virtual certainty that most of the complaints you've received regarding his article in the JWR were prompted by a mass emailing from CAIR. Whether Islam is a terrorist organization may be debateable, but there can be little doubt that CAIR is terrorist affiliated.

Although I may not agree with everything Michael espouses, but I gave this country 12 years of military service, including close to two years in Vietnam, to ensure his right to say them.

I urge you to reconsider your decision and not knuckle under to a genuine terrorist front-group like CAIR.
