JAMMU: Suspected militants raided a remote village in Jammu and Kashmir, separated villagers by religion and then killed five Hindus by slitting their throats, said police on Friday.
Police said the Thursday night attack by three men was the latest in several grisly attacks in which civilians were killed with axes or had their throats slashed. The killings occurred in the Dhoob village, a remote area about 190 kilometers (120 miles) northwest of Jammu, said Deputy Inspector General VK Singh.
The attackers walked into the village and lined up all the men, forcing the Muslims and Hindus to stand in separate lines, said Singh. A Muslim woman was also killed in the same district after militants slit her throat, police said, adding that suspected militants also killed a policeman’s wife and nephew in Kupwara. Suspected militants also killed a Muslim youth in Srinagar, said a police spokesman.

Suspected militants separating villagers by religion and slitting their throats? I wonder what type of militants those were. I bet the police are looking for a white pickup right now, or maybe they're raiding the local Methodist missionary's house, or maybe it's those darn Buddists. I guess we'll just never know for sure what kind of militants would do such a horrible job.
