You have to wonder how one can buy such trash. I get it he is the lawyer and must defend his client but come on, thought he was excused from deploying.
What turn-up truck did this guy fall out of?
Hope you are well, Mike, have not the privilege to read a comment by you recently, so nice to see you friend.

well if he wasn't ever in the military, which is quite possible, then he was probably going on either the thought the guy could have been excused from deployment or maybe the defendant told him.
In either case, he DID NOT check up on the rules.
I am doing good, except for my college class is aggrivating me :)

He got off easy. He will have a rough time finding a job which might at least remind him of his actions. Agreed. I would have done as General Patton wanted to do with all such cowards: send him up to the front--under a senior NCO's "watchful eye."

Who cares what this cowardly liberal has received (he and his family are centerfold celebs on Dummy U, and other commie sites).
For the good of the unfortunate soldiers who would have to depend on him to protect their back, they may have saved their lives..
Sorry to say a dishonorable discharge has no real impact with a prospective employer anymore, most won't ask if he doesn't include it in the application.. No this coward will only suffer knowing that real men and women know what he is.. Good riddance

Hard to take issue with your comment. I do agree, his fellow soldier's are safer for him not deploying. I just felt he got off light. Employers may not ask, but I imagine that there are folks who are offended by this cowards and my just notify his potential job and if service oriented boycotting their company. Just an idea.

Of course you are absolutely correct he got off much too easy, the unit should have deployed him and let him go AWOL, and nail him with a solid case..
Back in the days of the draft, we knew the losers in our ranks, and we made men of them fast, or they ran like hell.. only a few did, the rest now owe us their sound sleep and self respect..

Maybe send his name off to Hanoi Jane's Tour America. He'd be useful to drain the septic tanks of her bus .....
My dad sits and reminisces about the good old days .... we share a beer in the afternoons .... he's 55 a Nam vet and I'm 23 .... surprised at how much I agree with him ...

Your guy sounded like a cool guy so I hope what he said comes true. Tell him thanks for his service, and thank you too.
P.S. Septic sludge is too good for this guy or for Jane Fonda.
To: Former Military Chick
He should serve his time in Ramadi outside the wire delivering food to the troops there.

He got off way too light. At a minimun he should have gotten 10 years at hard labor...give him more time to reflect on his sudden pacifist values.
To: BushisTheMan
Yep, my dad is the greatest!!!
Thanks to you too ...
