Many Muslims in Britain commend the performance of their prime minister in the aftermath of the London bombings, according to a poll by MORI. 56 per cent of Muslim respondents approve of the way Tony Blair is handling the response to the terrorist attacks.
On Jul. 7, four blasts in London killed at least 53 people and injured 700 more. Investigators say three British nationals of Pakistani descent and a Jamaican-born man were responsible for the explosions at three underground stations and a double-decker bus. Authorities believe the event was a coordinated suicide bombing, the first to ever occur in Western Europe.
Britain currently has 8,500 soldiers participating in the U.S.-led military effort in Iraq. There have been 1,972 coalition deaths since the conflict began in March 2003, including 93 British citizens. 53 per cent of respondents believe the war in Iraq is the main reason behind the London attacks.
On Jul. 19, Blair denied any direct link between the Iraq war and the London bombings, declaring, "Of course these terrorists will use Iraq as an excuse. They will use Afghanistan. Sept. 11 happened of course before both of these things, and then the excuse was American policy, or Israel. They will always have their reasons for acting. But we have got to be really careful of almost giving in to the perverted and twisted logic with which they argue."

George W. Bush - BAD
Saddam Hussein - GOOD
NOT
And when will a poll be conducted amongst NON-MUSLIM BRITS with the question:
" DO YOU APPROVE OF THE WAY MUSLIMS DO NOT STAND UP AND DENOUNCE THE TERRORISM AND DO NOT WORK TO DISCLOSE THE TERRORISTS IN THEIR RANKS? "
Amazing how the media is only concerned about what Muslims think...(/sarcasm)
Islam is to blame.
Anything that Muslims do not prefer is the cause. They can name whatever they want.
Muslims just do not belong with civilized people. They are wild.
Right but that's too obvious, isn't it?

Given that (apparent) lack of intergration in British society by Muslims I see this a very posative outcome.
Begs the question, which Islam? The one the terrorists follow, or the one 85-90% of Muslims follow?
We weren't in Iraq then...
In a related story, a copy of a WWII era poll had the following results:
The war in Germany is the main reason why London was bombed 96%
The bombings in London would have happened even if Britain was not involved in Germany 2%
The war in Germany had nothing to do with why London was bombed 1%
Wahabbist sect originated in Saudi Arabia, to be specific.
Then why are none of these people Iraqi.
They are not even Arabs.
I am searching for the one thing that they had in common, but it escapes me.
Wahabbist sect originated in Saudi Arabia, to be specific.
Of course you do know they (the Wahabbist) don't approve of any one who doesn't follow their particular sect.
