...Al Sharpton is by far the most entertaining Democrat to me, except fo Sheets Byrd.

My vote goes to Major Owens, with a close second to Cynthia McKinney.

I guess I missed the part where Sharpton told his black community to shape up, take charge of their communities, insist on personal responsibility and hard work, on educating their children and stopping the AIDS epidemic by returning to their moral roots, by insisting that fathers take care of their children, by stopping the BLAME GAME of asking for hand outs that breed distrust among Americans and instead insisting that his community take advantage of all the opportunities available, start campaigns to clean up their neighborhoods and regain self esteem.

He could use Condi Rice as an example, or Clarance Thomas. LOL

Oh...oooops....I FORGOT.....Sharpton does not want his people to consider these two role models.

Sharpton should be in Prison too. Its not all racism to have a disproportionate amount of blacks in prison

if a disproportionate amount of crime is committed by blacks and usually committed against blacks.

Hell I'm tired of 90% of mass murderers are white! (/sarcasm)

Oh heck if were purely going by idiocy we could add Boxer and Shelia Jackson Lee but none of them have really distrinctive styles. So for my money i'm sticking with Sharpton/Sheets or Sheets/Sharpton....annoy everybody in 2008

Count me in! The fight for the Democrap nomination in '08 is really going to be fun to watch. If Hillary thinks that Biden, Kerry, et.al. are going to step aside like Nita Lowey, she is sadly mistaken. I'm not discounting her chances, but there's not going to be a coronation.

Hillary already has it locked up. These other guys are looking to be a VP or in her cabinet. The MSM will try to create the impression that she is in a contest just to put the spotlight on the Dems. Hillary has the money, name recognition, and organization to make it a coronation. Game, set, match.

If you're talking about unintentional humor, Sheets has Al beat.

Actually, in the Dem debates Sharpton was by far the most entertaining of the seven (or eight, whatever), a fact which reflected one of many problems the Dems faced. Basically a race-baiting preacher with outlandish ideas and poor grammar came off a lot better than most of the rest. Remember when he yelled at some protesters to be quiet while the other candidates stood around with their thumb up their posteriors?

Not to mention the FBI files.

Seperating the Rev. Al from other so-called Black leaders and other Dems is like trying to differentiate Al-Queida from Hammas from PLO.

Same people. Same agenda. New ID for the week.

"Give me a good reason they should follow Al."

Uh, they can't get around him in the subway.
They can't get around him in the Starbuck's line.
They can't get around him in the movie ticket line.
They can't. . . .

Uhmm well, I guess you said GOOD reason, didn't you?

I love Sharpton, regardless of his politics....and he's just brilliant at delivering lines on a tightrope between levity and gravity...case in point: ""In slavery we wasn't singing, 'you a low down cotton pickin ho.' That would've reflected the times," he said to more laughter and applause."

'"In slavery we wasn't singing, 'you a low down cotton pickin ho.' That would've reflected the times," he said to more laughter and applause.'

...This would be all well and good if the man was sincere about what he's saying. Unfortunately, people like Al Sharpton cannot bring themselves to admit the Democrat Party is morally corrupt, and that no churchgoer, black or white with any ounce of self-respect should be voting for them.

However, many still do, under the hope that if they just pray hard enough, the Democrat in question will stop supporting Gay marriage, abortion, or whatever the issue may be. The truth is that no matter how much praying these people do, the Democrat politician is going to continue to take money from whoever gives it to him or her--and especially those Special Interests with deep pockets.
