Husband beats wife to death for defying 'orders'

By Samir Salama, Bureau Chief

Abu Dhabi:

A man beat his wife to death because he says she "disobeyed his orders and looked out of the balcony", a police source said.

The incident occurred at midnight on Friday. The Syrian man has been arrested and charged with the 20-year-old woman's murder.

The man, a hairdresser, was returning home from his shop at around 10.30pm, when he saw his second wife, also Syrian, looking out of the balcony of his flat on the first floor.

He got angry, rushed to his flat and started beating her all over her body.

The woman's screams forced his first wife who lives in the same flat, out of bed and she tried to stop him. However, he overpowered her and continued beating his second wife up for half an hour until she fainted.

The 30-year-old man called an ambulance but paramedics found his wife dead.

The accused told police he had not meant to kill her.

"I just wanted to discipline her after she disobeyed my orders. She died while I was hitting her for daring to look out of the balcony," he is said to have told interrogators.

"I used to beat my wives but I never thought that beating would kill any of them. It was just my way of disciplining them," he said.

His first wife told police she had tried hard to stop him but he had beaten her and pushed her away.

"He continued to beat her for almost half an hour before she died," she said.

The accused has been referred to the prosecution on charges of beating his wife to death.

Because feminazis are inherently disordered ,and hate being women ,it only figures they would end up with men who hate them for BEING women-- of a sort.

"Let a thousand multicultural flowers bloom!"

That phrase must surely join others in infamy such as "It takes a village"

;)

Heheh.

You obviously had that same fundamental training that AppyPappy had. Check his #34:

Haha! Nah! I follow Sean Connery's lead, who once got into a whole heap of trouble with some women over his off-the-cuff remarks about spanking the women in his life! ;-)

Interesting point. Like walking into Bizarro World. I guess abnormal behavior would be letting your wife stand on the balcony and look outside to the world.

Found this following from
http://www.reintegration.com/today/index.asp?pid=147
and it relates to what you are saying.

"No one debates the fact that mental illnesses exist everywhere in the world; however, a lesser known fact is that what is considered abnormal behavior in one culture, may be considered perfectly normal and even revered in another. Take Japan for example - a country that did not even have a word for mild depression until five years ago. Why? Because the Japanese culture, with its history of Buddhism and acceptance of sadness and suffering encouraged people to embrace that experience, not seek help for it. "

As we welcome cultural diversity let's make a special accommodation for wife beating. Afterall it's the religion of peace.

Sean's great.

And, as Jimmy Malone in Untouchables expresses a great philosophy that would be apt today, too, in WOT:

"If you open the can on these worms you must be prepared to go all the way because they're not gonna give up the fight until one of you is dead...Do you want to know how to get Capone? You've got to do it the Chicago Way. He pulls a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one o' yours to the hospital, you send one o' his to the morgue. That's the Chicago way. And that's how you get Capone."

When we hear of these crimes (as opposed to acts) we are outraged. In their world, it's accepted - at least by the male majority. Obviously women don't have much voice.

Ah, yes. Great idea. Special accomodation as well as special commendations for most inventive abuses of the little lady.

Great tag line, btw.
