The sign may be controversial, but the Rev. Gene A. Youngblood said it is researched and speaks the truth.
"Islam is evil and believes in murder," reads the sign at the entrance of First Conservative Baptist Church and the Conservative Theological Seminary on St. Augustine Road in Jacksonville. "Jesus teaches peace."
References to specific Quranic and biblical verses accompany the statement, which Youngblood said are meant to serve as a warning to society.
"I am of the opinion, based on enormous research of the Muslims' own books, that Islam is the most vile, wicked, evil danger facing the world today," Youngblood said.

I'm surprised that this Church hasn't been siezed under the new Supreme Court approved "eminent domain" clause... and sold to some Arabic developer to build another Mosque on.
That'll teach 'em!

Well, unless Islam undergoes a reformation, he may very well be right....But can they undergo a reformation without denouncing what Islam really is? To go against Islam would make them an infidel who is to be put to death. That's why none of the Islamic leaders have refuted Dr. Vines and Dr. Caner's statements. I think Imam Malik may not realize what he will be up against to do a televised debate. My guess is that he will back out, but I hope he doesn't!

Possibly, but the odds will be stacked against them. Any person doing so will not find the path easy, death will surround them.
Where Luther was able to use the New Testament to defend his positions; a like minded Muslim will find that very hard given what is in the Koran.
If a reformation is not undertaken within the Muslim community another World War (starting in Europe) will most definitely happen within this century....

I guess you didn't see where the church was located. Read the article again.
Man, that little bit of trivia sure has people stirred up. I wonder why?

Free Speech at it's best. A gutsy statement for sure knowing it would bring down the liberal media on them like a hammer, but the sign is so true.

I do realize that you hope he doesn't cave in. I was just thinking along the lines of how we've come the point in time that we kind of expect that a Man of God would back down on his beliefs.
