We're not going anywhere. We are going to kick the whole gang in Harrisburg out of office and put Americans up there. Even the new bunch will be term-limited.

Does this mean we don't have to deal with Senator Specter and Senator Casey anymore?

LOL, that won't work for me. I would need to move. We don't want to go, they're just trying to stir up controversy. They've had their talons out for Santorum, to get rid of him. They love to think they're the Kerry's of PA, nanny-state everything. I think we need to let Rendell and Knoll go, keep our state. They would love it if us Repubs were squelched completely. I think Knoll really underestimated the 'red' parts of the state. She probably thought she was safe with that crap in Pburgh where there are a lot of her kind, but much of the rest of the state, the parts they ignore, has sizable opposition to their leftie plans.

Actually Boston has existed as a separate city-state all its own for a long time now.

LOL, so true. I have relatives in the suburbs there. The Boston elite seem to think they're some kind city-state, an empire of their own, a kind of socialist model held up prominently, proudly for the world to admire. The only thing they need to know about the 'outlying areas' is whether or not the taxes have been fully levied and paid. Oh, and I guess, how soon will these outlying areas become part of the great city state by adopting the nanny state model set forward as a shining example to them.

Good for your mom! It's so nice to hear.

Well, if they don't starve with Bush in office, at the very least all their medications will become unaffordable and unavailable, 'services' will be cut, and social security will vanish. This from a dear old, determinedly dem friend of our family who still has lunch every day at the senior center for $1, has recently had his surgery, medication, and a temp visiting nurse all paid for by the VA and medicare, fully covered, and he is quite well off in his own right without these services. But don't dare mention these discrepancies to him, and we don't.

My mother in law is a know nothing dem. All I continually hear is "That Bush is wrecking this country!". Really? How I say. Just watch the news and educate yourself she says....

Here in NW PA, huge union country, I hear this all the time. And not just older folks, anymore.

Anymore, I just laugh.

Me, too. Which infuriates them. But just ask for an example, an explanation. They can't give one. They just buy the hate and rhetoric. And spew it back. But most of them live quite well. Don't even get me started on NAFTA and Clinton, when so many of the livable-wage jobs left our area. Such denial.

"They used to produce coal, steel, textiles and machine components along with livestock and produce. Now most of those industries have withered and died or left the state for foreign soil. PA is hurting bad."

It's such a shame. My folks' closest friends were from Upper Darby. They used to speak of PA with a genuine affection and fondness for their home state.

I'm sorry PA has come to this.

All that needs done in Pennsylvania is to wake up the deer hunting crowd, the folks in rural and small-town Pa. Rendell and his lovely (but quite repulsive) Lt Gov would be driven from office......

Knoll needs to resign for what she did!!!!

I wonder how much it would cost to reprint this article as a full page ad in one of Pennsylvania's many newspapers?
