There are RINOs, notably Giuliani and McCain, who are also leaders and who could, under certain circumstances, be nominated and elected.

Both have a very good chance in 2008. And this isn't going to be an election to lose, given what the alternative is likely to be.

Both have a very good chance in 2008.

Neither Giuliani nor McCain has a chance to win the GOP nomination in 2008. I think Giuliani would be a great spokesman for the campaign, and would be an ideal candidate for U.S. Attorney General or director of Homeland Security, but that's it.
