The Free Muslims Coalition a national organization with 15 chapters, willl meet this Wednesday with Congressman Tom Tancredo of Colorado about a recent comment in which he suggested that the United States should bomb Islamic holy sites in Mecca as a deterrant against the terrorists.
In response to public criticism, Tancredo spokesman Will Adams stated, We have an enemy with no uniform, no state, who looks like you and me and only emerges before attack. How do we go after someone like that?'
Free Muslim Coalition will convey to Congressman Tancredo that many Muslims share his frustrations about the killing of innocents in the name of our religion.
The Free Muslims recognize that Muslim leadership in America and abroad has failed in challenging and discrediting the ideology that leads to extremism and terrorism but we are now trying to reverse our past mistakes by aggresively challenging the terrorists and their evil ideology.
FMC understands that Congressman Tancredo was speaking hypothetically based on the theory that America must threaten the terrorists with what matters to them most.
Coalition President Kamal Nawash will ask Congressman Tancredo to join Muslims who want nothing more to eliminate the terrorists and the idealogy that leads to terrorism.
Jews, Christians and Muslims and the entire civilized world must join forces to defeat this evil that hides behind religion to justify the murder of innocent people.

If eliminating terrorism is all they want then how do they explain the following article.

Tell those whining babies that they should save their complaining for the people who are doing the killing - the terrorists.

Any possibility we could listen to this meeting on the Hannity show?
To: gopwinsin04
Hmmm... Yes, Tom will have to give real, firm assurances to be taken seriously by this group. Whereas this group only has to 'claim' that they deplore terrorist attacks.
Least they spent more time trying to put Tancredo's comments into context.

....about a recent comment in which he suggested that the United States should bomb Islamic holy sites in Mecca as a deterrant against the terrorists.
Did Tancredo say that we should bomb Islamic holy sites to deter terrorists? Or did he say that we could use the plan as a retaliatory measure?
To: Das Outsider
I listened to the Hannity show today and he said the comment was in reply to a question about a 'dirty bomb' attack that could kill millions, from what I could tell.

"Most likely, the terrorists will take Congressman Tancredo's words out of context to gain more recruits by convincing gullible Muslims that they are defending them from "crusaders" who want to "destroy Islam."
But I really do want to see the destruction of Islam.

Finally, it took something that the Congressman said to get the Muslims to say they don't like it any better than we do....if nothing else happens, this is a start....

Hey FMC and CAIR! When was the last time we saw you marching in Washington against terrorists, and in full support of our troops? How about your brothers and sisters overseas? In Europe? In MECCA?
Until we see this, we have no reason to believe you aren't in league with terrorists. None.

Tom might ask this pious bunch what they've said or done regarding Muslim terror since the first attack on the world trade Center.

Prior to his comment, Tancredo met with Paul L. Williams, a consultant on terrorism, about some questionable--although disturbing!--intelligence. The picture that it painted was of a nuclear attack here in the United States involving twenty suitcase nukes going off in twenty major cities (Dallas, Los Angeles, NYC, Washington D.C., Chicago, Boston, etc.). The Congressman was to meet with some of his colleagues soon after to discuss all of this. Before you know it, he says to the world that we should consider an attack on Mecca.
Short answer: Tancredo was talking about a counterattack. This article would give you a different impression.

Congressman Tancredo should, pardon the expression, stick to his guns!

Lock-n-Load, Tom.From what little I know of him, Tom seems like a fruit-loop, but at least he doesn't "assume the position."
