Our government needs to adapt and fix this problem, or citizens will eventually start target practice at the border.

The government will do very little if anything so long as President Bush does not press the issue. That doesn't seem likely considering he thinks of Americans defending our borders as vigilantes and is trying to placate his Cafta cronies.

So let me see if I understand this correctly - Americans get off their rumps, go to the border, tell the border patrol where to find the illegals (like this is a shocker) and then they come out, talk to the illegals, hand them a piece of paper and walk away?

And there are all these wackos out there yellin and screamin that this is plainly unfair? That citizens shouldn't be there at all?

I've entered into the Twilight Zone - there is no other reasonable explanation.

Someone get the Army out there, have them pull out those tents they got stockpiled, and fill the suckers up until transports can start taking them home. If the Army is too busy, National Guard troops can do it. Gosh, the mind of a government - absolutely insane that this isn't already done.

The problem is, immigration detention centers are packed, so most OTMs are given a court summons and told to return in three months. A full 85 percent don't.

I'm trying to figure out the other 15%. Did they get home sick and want to go back? Did they earn enough in 3 months to make 5 years pay back home and they want a free return trip at US taxpayer expense?
