Shin Bet doesn't have to discredit the ultra-nationalists. They do a pretty good job on their own. Precisely. This is way outside the mainstream of Israeli thinking and even of Orthodox Jewish thinking. To wish Sharon dead... I don't even wish ill on Yossi Beilin or Yossi Sarid. I just wish them an early and enjoyable retirement outside of Israeli political life. I feel the same way about Benny Elon and Avigdor Lieberman. A nice, peaceful retirement.
. I'm not certain, but I'm about 99% sure that if you do something like this in the US towards the President, you get to have a chat with the Secret Service. I
am certain that if this was Muslims, we'd be hearing all sorts of comments about the "religion of peace".

"To wish Sharon dead"
If the description in the PDF link is correct, to call this a death wish is simplistic. It's actually more of a plea for immediate judgment upon an individual viewed as a threat, a traitor. The consequence, if the individual doing the entreating is wrong, i e divine judgment finds the subject of Pulsa D'Nora to be righteous, then judgment befalls the plaintiff (for lack of a better word). Assuming one actually believes this, it is no minor undertaking, because if you're wrong, you yourself are dead.

if you do something like this in the US towards the President, you get to have a chat with the Secret Service. Did the Secret Service get to have a chat with Randi Rhodes, Janeane Garofalo and Al Franken? Why are they still on the air?
