Yes. It won't happen willingly.
I've always thought that one of the greatest hypocrisies about Socialism is that in its attempts to create this great Utopian "selfless" society, it actually creates more selfishness than any other ideology. As we have obviously moved towards more socialism, society has become more about Me than about We. And is this really surprising since socialism promises to take care of...and provide for, the needs of others.
Contrary to what socialists tell us, Socialism breeds radical individualism which has helped create the very entitlement class that exists within our society today. The sad fact is Socialism is inherently flawed (and evil) because it is an ideology that has to create perpetual conflict among other human beings in order to survive (i.e., Rich v Poor, Male v Female, Old v Young, Black v White, etc). And it is for this reason that it is extremely dangerous. Socialism...the BIG LIE.
