I'm about 60 miles from the epicenter. The house shook for about a minute. It was scarey for a few seconds. We contemplated getting out but the dishes never started rattling. It was an experience that, on the whole, is not desirable.

I'm in the Pocatello area, 150 miles straight south. Didn't notice anything at all here.

"The house shook for about a minute." A minute is a long time in earthquake terms. Are quakes rare in Montana?
I'm in Hawaii and we've had 3 of those 5+ shakers in the last 6 weeks or so.
