I agree that we should retaliate. But, there are one billion Muslims spread all over the place. How could we kill them all?

Nuke,fuel air or carpet bomb most of the major population areas. Hunt the rest down like rats and kill em one at a time. If they nuke us I don't think there would any shortage of volunteers. It will be the biggest act of vigilante justice in human history.

We just hit the heavy concentrations initially, and mop up the remainder later if necessary.
Since the exact number necessary is entirely up to them, I suspect a LOT less than 100%...
