Reminds me of my mom.

During my parents retirement years and the aggravations and arguments that came with them, my father frequently verbally threatened to "get a divorce" from my mom, until one day after this statement, my mom went into the bedroom, got a suitcase from the closet and walked in and threw it at my dad with a terse comment that he could leave anytime he wanted.

That was the last of the "divorce" talk for a good while. I think my parents divorce was in process for about the last 30 or 40 years of their 50 year + marriage.
