Well, none of my friends treated men badly. If a guy goes for one thing and one thing only and that is how a woman "looks" then obviously makes the wrong choice. Same with a woman. If she does all this to attract men then she makes the wrong choice too.
People should just be people. Take what you have been given and make the most of whatever it is. If someone doesnt' like you because you are not "hot" or whatever else the term then move on. It's wht's in people's hearts that matters. When will people learn that? Especially in todays day and age when everything is artificial and plastic?
Love, honesty and character will make anyone beautiful or handsome from within and after all, isn't that what everyone wants? A special someone to spend their days with in love and kindness? Ya cant' beat that combo.

Yes, really. Sounds like you just had bad luck. Sorry to hear that but... not every girl/woman treats a man badly same as not every boy/man treats a woman badly. It's the individual not the gender that determines one's goodness.

2.Can you honestly say you have never had a perm, never gone to a salon, never had your hair colored, never worn any make-up, never shaved your legs or armpits, never plucked your eyebrows, never painted your toe nails, never worn pantyhose, or a pretty dress, or even a lacy bra?

You do those things because they make you feel better. Feel prettier. To make yourself more attractive to your husband.
Each individual has a different definition of what is beautiful. Who are you to define it for everyone?
Not everyone has cosmetic surgery because they are self-loathing morons who are trying to give their lives meaning. Not everyone is chasing the Hollywood ideal.
Some people do it because they figure life is short. Why not look your best while you can? It is not always for a man. Some women feel better when they look their best. For some people, that means a nip here, a lift there. Who cares? Why do you?

I have to agree with you (once again, lol), teeny.
I'll be 30 in a few months, so according to some, I'm past my "best by" date. Does that mean that I believe it, or believe that I am vain or stupid for wanting to look my best? Not in my opinion, especially since how I look isn't the most important thing in my life. For some folks, perhaps it is. Me, I just find it fun to dress up and get made up for both myself and my husband. If I decide I want to give the girls a boost as a part of that, it's nobody's business.
That, to me, is a more "feminist" attitude than thinking that having hairy legs, no makeup, and sensible shoes makes me superior to women who enjoy a pair of Jimmy Choo's and being a regular customer at Sephora and Victoria's Secret. I want to wear pretty things and make up for my own benefit as much as for my man's. That doesn't mean I'm going to win any beauty contests, either, and I don't care.
Plastic surgery isn't always done for the smartest of reasons, but it's not my place to question someone's motives if they're an adult. It's their money...I just feel sorry for the ones that think it will magically cure what ails them.
