Are you often embarrassed for other people? Generally I find that people who make the claim "to be embarrassed" for this person or that person are themselves (1) overreaching and brittle (2)uncomfortable to be with, and (3) nasty.

You caught me with my rhetorical pants down. Tis' true that I did not actually blush myself.

Stating that I was "embarrassed for Israel", was intended as a rhetorical line meaning that I feel Israel should be embarrassed.

I myself have found, generally, that those who presume to judge the character of people they have never met based on a few words typed on the Internet are themselves.......(I suppose anything I might say at this point would of necessity be considered hypocritical. Ah, what the hell).... are themselves (1) are horrible at poker (2) observe poor personal hygiene (3) are inadequate in bed.
