"What would happen if a prominent Muslim made that statement about Catholic holy places like the Vatican?" asked Ali.

hello..McFly....!!! The Vatican isn't into world domination. You are.

These Muslums are phonies. This is not a religion only disguised as one. I'm sure our milatary has contingencies in the event of dirty bombs but let's ask ourselves, what should the response be if we continue to have Pakastanis involved in the bombings of ourselves and allies?

"Islamofascists have already said they were going to take over the Vatican."

And they've been saying it for centuries. Just before the famous battle of Lepanto, (where the Muslim navy got trounced), they boasted they would invade Rome and "turn the Vatican into a horse stable".

I think it was a stupid thing for Tancredo to say...

He only said what all the rest of us are thinking and want done.

"Guess they'll just have to vote him out but I wish them rotsa ruck."

Many of their members probably aren't eligible to vote.

Enough is enough... Hispanic activist Manolo Gonzalez-Estay told a crowd of about 200 at the state Capitol.

You bet it is Manolo. We've had enough of illegal aliens invading us by the millions and the politicians who support them. If you don't like Tancredo, tough, cry me a river.

I think there is a Mosque on the temple mount, how did that happen. And they took over that church about a year ago.

I agree. It was not very smart of him to say. I was ready to jump on the band wagon in support of him because I am behind him 100% with his illegal immigration stance but such a quote about Muslim sites (whether I agree with him or not) would probably come back to bite him if he was the republican going against the democrat for President.
What he should have said is that he'd nuke the country and not specify religious sites.

Anyone who doesn't like Tancredo, for any reason, is welcome to vote for his opponent in November.

The muslim fanatics and open border anarchists know beating Tancredo at the polls would be nearly impossible so they'll try to hound him out office. It'll never happen, not with this congressman.

Actually I think he crossed the line just a bit too far simply because such a statement could come back to haunt him in a debate.

It's always been easy to find documented connections between radical Hispanics and radical Islam. It's been posted here numerous times. Visit radical Hispanic web sites, for example.

Of course there was virtually nothing in the MSM about it.

Now the MSM can blame the "evil" Tancredo for bringing the two radical groups together.

Now maybe the MSM employees will write about it.

As it should be. He's answerable to his constituents, not to every jerk in the country with an Agenda.

The Senate can remove its own members. Otherwise, it is up to the electorate, which is the citizens of his district as things stand at present. But resigning is not on the program.

They have the power. It would have to be something serious though, such as preaching sedition.
