I think it was the very first meeting with the Sloots after BHT and Jug got to the island.....Beth stayed in the car while Jug and the cops went to talk with the Sloots.....
IF Jug was right there, why does he need the transcript?....
He heard everything being said, didn't he?
perhaps I am all wrong...perhaps he wasn't privy to all that was said....
can anyone clear this up for me?....
I suppose no t all people in the group(s) heard all the conversations from that night. I would think the biggest thing is the conversation between Charlie Croes and others that was in a foreign language. Jug is probably hoping that that would be translated. I can't blame him for that and I have wondered if CC didn't translate for Beth, then why didn't Beth asked about what was said, and if she did, why didn't he tell her? Because I get the impression that he didn't tell her what was said.
He wasn't privy to the conversation that was conducted in papiamento. And I bet that isn't going to be in the transcript!
Jug wants to know if the cops even wrote reports and if that information is in evidence..also if he could read their reports, he could see if they reported exactly what he knew happened or if something was left our accidentally or intentionally..its like double checking...Apparently he feels what transpired that night was evidence and he is worried it was not reported or not reported correctly...rs
I have a memory that that initiall night, Charles Croes was there and papiamento or Dutch was used and the Ameericans couldn't understand all that was said.
And Croes was never interviewed by LE.
