I'm thinking that the prosecution has requested a second DNA test to be sure whether (or not) the samples match the duct tape/hair samples. Just a guess.
Sounded like ALE followed improper procedures. Maybe they allowed it out of their sights or something. Prudent to take a second sample to be sure.
