Who wasn't in a difficult situation was INIDA - Who choose to be the wimps you guys are when it came to supporting the Coalition of the Willing in removing Saddam from power and helping in spreading freedom to the rest of the Middle East.

India was the FIRST nation to offer bases to attack the Taliban. They didn't want to invade Iraq because they weren't sure taking out a secular dictator was the right next step -- and perhaps they were right, it would have been better to have eliminated the Paki madrassas and cowed the Wahabbis.

Actually there were quite a few of the Stan's that were offering bases rather quickly - And we chose to use a number of those (including Pakistan's).
