I used to enjoy Doonesbury, but he's gotten progressively more bitter and just mean. I don't think he even tries to be funny any more. I know that's true about Boondocks, which has morphed into a young-black-radical version of the Andy Capp cartoon-When our paper finally dropped that strip, I sent in the following letter(which they declined to publish ...)
And angry young artist named Aaron
Whose worldview is bleak and despairin'
Has bid us adieu
Now his venomous spew
Can pollute some boondocks we're not sharin'.
