"In a message to his superiors, revealed here for the first time, Zarqawi offered his estimate that after three years of joint combat, Iraqi insurgents ought to be capable of running the guerrilla war against the Americans on their own."
That's a crock! News broke about 2 weeks ago that Al Zarkawi had fled Iraq. That's "FLED," as in "ran away." His nutballs aren't "winning." They are simply killing hundreds of average Iraqis who only want a chance at freedom and democracy. Nothing suggests that Al Qaeda's thugs are winning anything, certainly not the hearts and minds of the Iraqi people.
George W. Bush's policies are doing that!

Exactly, all he is doing is wasting his resources. The US is NOT leaving Iraq or Afghanistan and no matter how much the left screams, it ain't gonna happen. He has to realize this and knows you can't terrorize people who've spent decades living under a ruthless, blood-thirsty dictator and his sons.

News broke about 2 weeks ago that Al Zarkawi had fled Iraq. I think the report claimed he fled "Baghdad" not Iraq - But either way, the report is worthless and those speculating don't have a clue to begin with 99 out of 100 times -
To: CHARLITE
Debka is pure guesswork. This one doesn't strike me as very likely.

On July 15, DEBKA-Net-Weekly 214 reported that al Qaeda was diluting its Iraq forceTranslation: Zarqawi and his thugs are sucking wind in Iraq, and they've decided to carry out murder and mayhem on easier, more willing targets.

It's always interesting that so many sources always know every detail about this piece of garbage except where to find him. Very strange.

debka and world net daily don't seem to be reliable sources of information.
