This trend is the darndest thing.

Muslems blow themselves with mighty blasts in public places and kill scores and main hundreds more and the first news headlines skip wasting time with photos and news of the atrocity - the actual news - and ponder on the front pages whether the Muslems are going to be perceived differently.
