Like all appeasers, you consider Tancredo's statement "aid and comfort to the enemy." I consider it a warning and wakeup call to Muslims to clean up their own mess.
The time for being mealymouthed and reticent about this is long past. Repressing the gag reflex and calling Islam a "religion of peace" has purchased us no peace, just more terrorism.

Well put. Valin, like his hero, Hugh Hewitt, think they can engage in some sort of bespectacled, hand-wringing reason with Western Muslims, and that those tidy little dialogues will somehow change the behavior of the neck-chopping animals in Jordan, Syria, and Iraq.
It's something like negotiating with a medicated ape, on behalf of his native counterparts.
