The Web site for a lawyer seeking the Republican nomination to challenge Hillary Clinton for a New York seat in the U.S. Senate has quit functioning in what William Brenner's campaign staff calls cyber-sabotage. Brenner, a Sullivan County tax attorney, began pursuing the nomination publicly in April.
Campaign spokesman David Brenner says they don't know who erased the site last week, but the FBI launched a formal investigation July 19th. He says it cost them a week of Internet use, donations and staff e-mail.
Also seeking the G-O-P nod to challenge Clinton are Manhattan lawyer Edward Cox, a son-in-law of the late President Richard Nixon, Westchester County District Attorney Jeanine Pirro, and former Yonkers Mayor John Spencer.
Brenner lost a congressional race against Democratic incumbent Maurice Hinchey last year.

whoa.
i wonder if this is another case of people using some weak cms system or leaving privileges open.
Just FTP the stuff back and yer in business again.
You can never be too careful.
Having learned this lesson the hard way long ago, I now store my website stuff in four different locations.
It cannot be on the same HD but irregardless, Hillary's opponent's site was hacked. What if the same happened to her? Would the liberal banshee be front paged throughout the world? Who gives a rat's ass about this?
How many wives does this guy have?

I love examples of "interesting sentence construction". This one is on a par with "Eats, Shoots, and Leaves".
Thanks for the ping!
