The dim talking points are that Rove and Cheney's chief of staff, "Scooter" Libby, are both being investigated for perjury because their testimony conflicted with that from Time Magazine's Matt Cooper.
Hmmmmmmmm, let's see. You have two of the highest ranking individuals in government accused of lying about something that isn't a crime. They have fully cooperated with the prosecutor from day one, both providing consistent and verifiable facts. Their testimony conflicts with the low rent "reporter" (read leftist political hit man) married to the hildabeast's "media advisor" (read leftist political capo). That "reporter" has fought the prosecutor from day one, told numerous and obvious lies in public about what he has and has not said to the grand jury and has written scathing personal attacks on the other parties. For one thing Cooper has already admitted that he testified that he took notes of his conversation with Rove which he now claims was a "mistake" in his memory to explain why he doesn't have any notes (the notes obviously contradict his spin on what was and was not said by whom).
And the other reporter embroiled in the controversy, Judith Miller, now sitting in jail for contempt, is also under investigation by the same prosecutor for having intentionally leaked information about a pending FBI raid to a terrorist fund raising "charity," allowing them to destroy all of their records.
Whom to believe? Whom to believe?
Somebody's going to get indicted for at least perjury, but I don't think Karl and Scooter have a thing in the world to worry about.
Listen for the squeals of outrage from the stuck pigs who now dominate the uber leftist dims when Cooper (and his wife?) get indicted for conspiracy and obstruction of justice. Watch for literal bombs to start being lobbed by the reliable old media when Judith Miller gets indicted under the Patriot Act for providing aid to a terrorist organization.
Oh, and watch for treason indictments against Joe Wilson and the entire team at CIA where Plame works for running a rogue operation within the agency designed to undermine the elected government through lies and criminal leaks of falsified information.

You can add Durbin and two other senators for leaking classified CIA intelligence satellite information to the mix. Three Democrats all putting Top Secret information into the Senate record. Shouldn't they be scrutinized as well? Rove did not lead specifics he was not privy to, but these three Democrat Senators certainly did.

Though all would be nice, I'd settle for conspiracy and obstruction of justice. The others would be icing on the cake. Unfortunately, knowing how things work in liberal democratic DC, we may only get crumbs with no substance.
