Having been involved in USG building projects, Trump is right on the mark. These management types at the UN are babes in the woods when it comes to these projects. The UN would be better off contracting the whole thing to someone like Trump giving him a budget and let he deal with the architects and contractors.

There is abcolutely no reason why the UN neds to vacate the building completely during construction. Asbestos abatement is easily done on overtime with minimum disruption. It takes about 48 hours to clear a space completely. And they could reskin the building while the building is fully occupied.
