The Defense Ministry acknowledges that one of the possibilities under consideration for the synagogues and yeshivot in Gush Katif is to blow them up. Army officials say this is the likely choice.
The decision to destroy all the houses that are scheduled to be evacuated in Gush Katif and northern Shomron appears to be final. Last month, U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice visited Israel and reached an "agreement in principle" that the Israelis would destroy the houses and then pay the PA to deal with the rubble. The PA, however, has apparently reneged on its part of the deal, and Israel is now negotiating with Egypt over a plan to bury the rubble - an estimated 60,000 truckloads' worth - and bury it in the Sinai Desert.
The army plans to bulldoze the buildings, as it did in Yamit in 1982. Bulldozing the large buildings, such as synagogues and others, might take too long, however, and the army is therefore likely to blow them up. Close to thirty synagogues and religious schools are at stake. Army rabbinate officials will first catalogue and carefully remove all items from the synagogues, including holy books and possibly furniture.
Plans are also being made regarding the 48 graves in Gush Katif. Relatives of the deceased have refused to allow the exhumation of the bodies, but there is no chance that the bodies will be left behind if the expulsion becomes an established fact. Plans are being made to re-bury the bodies temporarily in Nitzan, near the caravan site that is being prepared for some of the Gush Katif families. This will require a second exhumation, however, when the families decide on a final resting place.

That's so ass backwards.
What a surprise. Has the PA ever kept a deal it agreed to? Everyone takes it for granted.
Then swine expose the buildings with imagination. Pig paste injected behind walls, finely powered pig bone non-skid surfaces, pig hair insulation rolls in the ceilings, etc., etc., etc.
This all came about because the Palestinian Authority thot they could make better use of the land the Israelis were using to build hi-rise apartments. But now the PA's don't even want to clean up the mess, for pay. No question the Israelis are going to knock the place down. It's going to be fun to watch the PA's take a piece of crap, which is what will be left when the Jews move out, and with great industrial effort and careful advance planning, rapidly let it become nothing more than krap. If they could just inbreed one more time maybe they won't even notice the Jews are gone?
Hey, I'm with ya but wouldn't the Jews have to hire someone else to pork the place up? Using pigskin gloves, of course.
For airfare and all-you-can-eat free pork, I bet half of Memphis would volunteer.
The new destruction of the temples.
You left out the part where they get the US to pay for whatever they manage to put up there.
That would be about as offensive to Jews as it is to Muslims.
Or you could just leave the houses there and avoid the whole problem.
I was trying not to drone on about the details but you're not only correct, what's worse it's our money either way. We will pay for the demolition---the Israelis already got permission for that (out of the standard three billion) and the Egypts will use our money to dig the hole in the ground to create the next archeological site, after which the PA's will use Bush's last check to dig a barbecue pit at the site. The Gazas just need a place to boogie and yell death to America.
This Jew is not offended.

"That would be about as offensive to Jews as it is to Muslims."
Nope, for Jews, raising pigs, touching them, cooking them, handling them, etc. is not forbidden - just eating the suckers.
