WASHINGTON -- Italian prosecutors again sought arrest warrants Wednesday for six additional CIA operatives who they say took part in the abduction two years ago of a radical Islamic cleric.
If granted, the prosecutors' request would bring to 19 the number of CIA personnel formally charged with the kidnapping in February 2003 of Osama Moustafa Hassan Nasr, better known as Abu Omar.
Milan's chief terrorism prosecutor, Armando Spataro, originally sought warrants for all 19, described in official documents as "a substantial group of persons belonging to the CIA of the United States or directly linked to it."

?.....NOT again.....off French-German-Spanish-U.N. corruption!
Screw them.
Screw them.
Screw them.
As the Americans said to the German skiers in the movie "Hotdog"...
"You can kiss my A$$...NOT on zee left...NOT on zee right...but RIGHT in ZEE MIDDLE!"
The Italians are the same whack jobs who let Abu Abbas escape as described by Oliver North in his Town Hall column of April 13, 2003 titled "Dispatch from the front":
"Abbas was apprehended in October 1985 but escaped with the help of his friends. The story goes like this: The Achille Lauro pulled into port in Alexandria, Egypt, and Hosni Mubarak, the president of Egypt, allowed Abbas and the three other terrorists to escape on a plane. He then called President Ronald Reagan and lied to him about it.
Navy pilots forced the plane to land in Italy, and U.S. Special Forces took custody of the four. At that point, the diplomats fouled things up and allowed the Italians to take custody. But instead of arresting Abbas, our allies the Italians put him on a plane in Rome, where he made his way to Yugoslavia to Tunisia to Damascus to Baghdad. But 18 years later, he is in U.S. custody, proving what Ronald Reagan said at the time, "You can run, but you can't hide."
Screw Italy. What the hell have they done for us. Nothing. If they release the names of the CIA operatives, maybe we should bring charges against them. I don't think we would be hurt any if we just cut them off.

"The Italians are the same whack jobs who let Abu Abbas escape"
You are exactly right.
" But instead of arresting Abbas, our allies the Italians put him on a plane in Rome, where he made his way to Yugoslavia to Tunisia to Damascus to Baghdad. But 18 years later, he is in U.S. custody"
But there is still more to the story. After we captured that mass murderer outside of Baghdad the Italian Government had the nerve to demand we extradite Abbas back to Italy.
Can you believe that. The let him walk once then demand him back?
It's crazy. The question is now moot. Abu Abbas is dead.
=8-\
They're all covert agents.
Surely there's a law somewhere that keeps us from identifying undercover intle officers. Lemme think here, hmmm...I'm thinkin' I heard something about that recently...hmmm.
Oh well, I can't remember...

Italy should give France a call and see what its like to have the American public boycott your goods.
Aieeeeeeeee!
Seems Italy is competing with Mexico to be our good friends.
With all the recent threats the scum terrorists are making in Europe the Italians better get busy locking them up instead of going after those who would.
"With all the recent threats the scum terrorists are making in Europe the Italians better get busy locking them up instead of going after those who would."
Had the same thought. Italy, then Holland is next in line for some action by Binny boy and his camel humpers. Of course, we must remember Italy does have some troops stationed south of the Bibil province, and yes, they did ok in Al Knaf etc., when the fat pric* Al Sader was trying to start a civil war in 2004.
So in that respects, I give them a bit of credit. They could have pulled their troops out. But did not.
The last bunch they indicted were unknown, as is this group.
What they are asking for are the names of US and Egyptian operatives that participated in a supected snatch, and the CIA has already answered them:
"We are not going to even TALK about that."
More wacko Communist judges just churning the waters and going nowhere.
The Italian government has said nothing and this government has ignored them, as far as I see.
They don't KNOW the names of the operatives, and that's what this is all about.
1) Why are CIA operatives so well advertised? They spent some $144K at a public hotel. Has trade-craft declined so far that safe houses are un-heard of?
2) Why is Italy bothering? When the man with a knife at your throat is shot, why do you prosecute the shooter? Jeez. Berlusconi: Make this go away, kapisch?
3) The West must do what it must to protect civilization, some toes will be stepped on, and some civil rights may not be perfectly observed. Michael Savage may need anger management classes, but he's got that one thing right: we'd better get mean with these terror mongers.
4) If you're going to do the job, follow the Brits example and unload your clip into his cranium. Half measures are not good examples. Dead bodies are good examples. Deportation to Egypt was just a frickin' farce.
Toughen up folks. This war is a 50 year proposition. Clean 'em, sight in, and stand by.
you are joking right?
Let's not slag Mexico. The President has put in lots of hard work to win Mexican friendship. Like Mainstream Muslims & Jews, Hispanics are a historically Democratic constituency that is gradually moving to the right.
Let's not hurt that trend with ill considered comments.
