More from the article:

"Bakri said he would like Britain to become an Islamic state but feared he would be deported before his dream was realized.

"I would like to see the Islamic flag fly, not only over number 10 Downing Street, but over the whole world," he said.

The British authorities ought to deport this guy promptly.

If they don't some British citizen is likely to take matters into his/her own hands and do a deportation of the guy's life from this earth.

Not that I'd mind that at all...

Deport? I don't think that will happen. Remember that Chechen terrorist whom Britain provided asylum to?

Where's that list of all the attacks that occurred before we had any troops over there? Was that Grampa Dave?

Britain grants Chechen rebel asylum
London

Chechen rebel leader Akhmed Zakayev, charged with murder and kidnapping by Russia, has been granted asylum in Britain, its Home Office said yesterday.

Russia, which sees its fight against Chechen rebels as part of the global "war on terrorism", has already criticised Britain's decision not to extradite Zakayev, accusing London of double standards. The EU has criticised Russia for human rights abuses in Chechnya.

Zakayev has been in Britain since December and requested asylum within days of his arrival.

He said he feared he would be killed if he returned to Russia, which accuses him of atrocities dating from the first of two wars in the breakaway Russian region from 1994-96.

Earlier this month, Britain rejected Russia's bid to extradite him, saying there was a substantial risk he would be tortured if he were sent to Moscow for trial.

That decision drew an angry response from Moscow, warning of damage to otherwise friendly Russian-British relations.

"We can confirm Mr Zakayev has been granted refugee status. His application (for asylum) has been successful," a Home Office spokesman said.

Russia had sought to extradite Zakayev on 13 charges from the mid-1990s. Russia first asked for his extradition during the notorious Moscow theatre siege last year, when a Chechen "suicide squad" held hundreds of hostages prisoner.

In the years between the first Chechen war and his flight to Britain, Zakayev became the chief Chechen peace negotiator, meeting Russian officials in Moscow as recently as 2001.

Russian forces left Chechnya in defeat in 1997 at the end of the first war but returned in 1999.

They have failed to restore peace in the region and still fall prey to frequent guerrilla attacks. In the past year, Chechens have increasingly turned to suicide bomb attacks on targets both inside Chechnya and in other parts of Russia.

FYI...at least one of his cohorts is in the US:

Kamran Bokhari, born in Islamabad, Pakistan, was the Al Muhajiroun's North American spokesman while a student of political science in the Southwest Missouri State University.

The group which celebrated 9/11 as "A Towering Day in History" and had a picture of the Capital building in flames on their website. Al Muhajiroun is and both of it's founders Omar Bakri Mohammed and the now jailed Abu Hamza Al Masri are directly linked to Bin Laden and Al Qaeda.

Former SMSU student Kamran Bokhari (and SMSU professor of Arabic history, Ahmed Ibrahim, who translated for Omar Abdel Rahman when he was in the Federal penitentary in Springfield in 1996), were among the founding members of the Islamic Center of Springfield Missouri, which is presently under investigation for ties to Al Haramain and Al Qaeda funding.

In 1997 Bokhari was the introductory speaker at a rally in London in the presence of Al Muhajiroun's leaders Omar Bakri Muhammed and Anjem Choudary.

In 1999, while a student at SMSU, and head of the Muslim Student Association, Bokhari helped to found the Islamic Center of Central Missouri . The Center was closed by the US Treasury Department after it's funder was said to be Saudi business Soliman Albuthi, who had invested in property as a front for Al Qaeda funding. SMSU Islamic history professor, Ahmed Ibrahim, was the MSA faculty advisor who also helped to run the center.

The last report they have on him is that he is in Texas, teaching at Austin Community College and then took a job with Stratfor.

Militant Islamists will continue to attack Britain until the government pulls its troops out of Iraq and Afghanistan, one of the country's most outspoken Islamic clerics said on Friday.

I say send that sumbitch back to his backwater, dirty, hole-in-a-cave Islamofascist paradise of a country!

So long as Islamic clerics spew this tripe and no "moderate" (sic) Muslims forcibly smack them down, all Muslims should be lumped together with the terrorists.

Deport?

No, arrest and squeeze him for every last bit of info he has. And I don't mean the torture that the Dems complain about, (detainees being forced to eat orange-glazed chicken, the horror).

Time for the Democrats to shut up and let the civilized world fight this war.

Jail this person and subject them to 24-7 Yoko Ono CDs, then after months of THAT, deport him to a country that will put him on trial.
