Is Paula Poundstone still around? She kinda fell off the planet after the child-molestation thing. Not that I miss her...
In any case, I still think PP was straight!
I can't believe I'm having a conversation about the sexuality of a frikkin' cartoon character!!! It MUST be Friday!! ;o)

I do think the NYT piece was subtly constructed to plant this idea. Just look at the series of photographs they chose: young John in plaid pants, young John with his boys' school pals, young John in a wrestling suit with his fellow wrestlers, John with footballers, and -- the final pic -- John smiling in an all-male wedding photograph. So the NYT wants homosexuals to endorse John Roberts.
Good. Very good...

The left in this country thinks that everyone in the country is a closeted gay. It helps them deal with their own licentiousness.

Fashionwise the 70s were a hideous time all around.... Oh, I don't know. I wore cammy most of those years before cammy was cool.

Uh, oh. I guess I am gay also.
In high school, I was a cheerleader at the powder puff game, where the girls played football and the guys were the cheerleaders.
I guess all of the girls who played football are lesbians.

My hubby has striped pants on in his 70s pics. They must not be the same as plaid in meaning....sarcasm.

This is so low. Desparate people do really stupid, tasteless things. My mother used to say something to the effect - if you sling slim, you can bet that most of it will fall all over you before it is out of your hand. She was right. These people are covered with slime. (Too bad it is not laced with itching powder.)

they are actually projecting their hate towards Republicans on views they actually hold themselves...they got away with it during the Clinton years....but that was then...this is now.
I guess John Roberts should get his penis slurped by a female law clerk while adjudicating law to prove his heterosexuality like little Billy C did.

Just when I thought my head wouldn't spin anymore -- I thought the dem/lib/socialists thought homosexuality was a good thing -- they are constantly espousing it as a great lifestyle. OH, I guess it is for them but not for conservatives/Republicans. H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T-E-S!!

Plaid shorts/pastel shirts/loafers are making a big comeback at my university. Plain pants can't be too far behind when it gets cold. I guess everything old is new again heh.
