according, again, to Fox, there were two police officers who were holding the suspect down while one police officer shot 5 bullets into the suspect

I heard that also. I wasn't sure at first, I asked my wife if she heard the same thing.

I also heard the suspect was armed.

It would have been good to get him alive to interrogate him.

First report I've heard that he was carrying a large rucksack. So far, the reports have just said that he didn't have explosives under his coat. If he had a large rucksack AND was wearing a heavy padded winter coat in the middle of summer, no wonder they shot him. Good going Brits!
