Rove vs. Chinagate
Bob Parks: Black & Right ^ | 7/22/05 | Bob Parks

Transcript of this week's radio spot:

I’m sure those of you who are paying attention to this whole Karl Rove-CIA spy thing must be getting the impression that this is the big story. Sure, busting Rove for leaking her identity is the next best thing besides him having a stroke as far as Democrats are concerned. But what if this whole thing was a diversion. What would be the real story and why aren’t we hearing it?

Last week, a Chinese general basically said that the next time we stick up for Taiwan and their bid for independence, China would nuke several US cities. I’m sure some of you are wondering why they’d do this seeing how we buy all their stuff at Wal-Mart?

At least we know how they can afford it….

Around ten years ago, people went to China to put their satellites into space because it was cheap to do so there. Problem was their rockets almost always crashed, thus so did million dollar satellites on them. A guy by the name of Bernard Schwartz who owed the Loral Space and Communications company grew tired of losing a million bucks a pop and wanted to make the Chinese rockets work better.

Problem was, almost all of the US intelligence agencies saw that as a bad idea where China was concerned. The fixes needed so satellites could sit on a rocket could easily be changed and something like a nuclear warhead could sit on those same rockets. They told President Bill Clinton giving that kind of science to China was a bad idea.

So, being an election year, Bernie Schwartz gave the Democrat National Committee a million dollar donation. For some strange reason after that, Loral was given waivers so they could essentially fix all the problems with those Chinese rockets. Loral’s satellites went into space and within a year after that, China started testing missiles by flying them over Taiwan. When Clinton sent two aircraft carriers there in protest, China threatened to nuke Los Angeles.

Well in the near decade since then, China now owns the Panama Canal, several of our corporations and their rockets can hit targets anywhere in the United States. Some of us knew that chicken would want to come home soon, and instead of giving it the attention it deserves, the media is making a big stink over the identity of a CIA desk agent.

Now we know why their ratings stink.

Small but important correction...

China does NOT own the Panama Canal. They only manage the port facilities and in fact have done a good job at it.

Panama Canal Authority owns the Canal and the government of Panama owns the Authority.

The USA can -- at any time -- come in to protect access to the Canal and defend it against attack.

I live in Panama and it is amazing the misinformation about this point. There are no Chinese troops patrolling the place. None at all. Period. If I ever see one, I'd be the first to provide photographic proof and raise bloody hell.

Here you go:

(a) AMENDMENTS

(1) At the end of Article IV, insert the following:

"A correct and authoritative statement of certain rights and duties of the Parties under the foregoing is contained in the Statement of Understanding issued by the Government of the United States of America on October 14, 1977, and by the Government of the Republic of Panama on October 18, 1977, which is hereby incorporated as an integral part of this Treaty, as follows:

```Under the Treaty Concerning the Permanent Neutrality and Operation of the Panama Canal (the Neutrality Treaty), Panama and the United States have the responsibility to assure that the Panama Canal will remain open and secure to ships of all nations. The correct interpretation of this principle is that each of the two countries shall, in accordance with their respective constitutional processes, defend the Canal against any threat to the regime of neutrality, and consequently shall have the right to act against any aggression or threat directed against the Canal or against the peaceful transit of vessels through the Canal.
```This does not mean, nor shall it be interpreted as, a right of intervention of the United States in the internal affairs of Panama. Any United States action will be directed at insuring that the Canal will remain open, secure, and accessible, and it shall never be directed against the territorial integrity or political independence of Panama.'''

The ports at either end of the Canal are run by Hutchison Whampoa Ltd. they do not own them.

Nope. After posting pictures to FR, I'll have my Lightsaber armed and ready while I await the arrival of the US Military.

As of now, all quiet on this front...

Will Hillary surrender to the Chinese in her first or second term?

IIRC Slick had the nuclear labs, Sandea and Los Alamos, declare some super computers surplus and he sold them to the Chinese so cheap he basically gave them away.

From their locations at each end of the canal the Chinese basically control them. If a war situation arose they could easily explode a device or two and close the canal.

Jimmy Carter was just like Slick and Hillary, an enemy of the US. If we keep in mind that only an enemy would do what they do their actions are more understandable. If they start acting reasonably, like Hillary may do, they are lying just to gain power.
