In other words, I heard things seldom heard on CBS or read in the pages of the New York Times.
And they will go out of their way to interview the few disaffected to prove their view.
I have a friend who is fortunate to be able to go to Iraq/Kuwait about every six months in his job a US Army historian (DoD civilian). He doesnt get the VIP treatment either. He has a set of travel orders that allows him to hop helicopters or convoys for travel, sleep where he can find a bunk and subsist in Army mess facilities. No bodyguards, no fancy hotels, no fancy restaurants.
He returns with the same impressions. As soon as he lets me know he is back we get together so he can fill me in. Ill spend hours listening and wishing I could make it over.

Thanks for the ping.
Michael sure is working hard to build an audience. I like the fact that he gets out from behind the micrphone from time to time.

MREs, Meals Ready to Eat, are three lies in one. They're not a 'meal', they're not ready and they are not edible - or so I, submarine qualified, hear. Actually they are not too bad, and that is speaking of the old MRE's circa 1990-1996. And when its 120 outside, sometimes I preferred a cold MRE rather than the hot chow at the mess tent.

A friend of mine was being discharged from the Air Force and we had MREs as part of the party celebration. It wasn't bad, you could actually taste what it was supposed to be and the peanut butter was actually really good.

I kinda like MRE's. They sure beat the pants off C-rats.

I've been listening to Michael Graham for a long time. The self-proclaimed "Geekiest Whiteboy East of The Mississippi"
is funnier and less sarcastic than Rush. And deserves a wider audience.
Jack.

Yes, Mark Belling, the best of Rush subs. Frankly, all the other suck, including Walter Williams, who wants to sell China oil so that they may build up their military to attack the US.

I think he does much better on Rush's show, he has to talk about national politics. He sometimes gets too involved with local politics or sports when he's doing his regular show. But, he really let's the libs have it. He's pretty 'tame' on Rush's show that way.

"Me, I'm not so smart. I like to let the guys on the ground tell their story. I believe it is completely possible that they know something that I and the New York Times editorial page do not."
Great post, Tolik! Liberal media's efforts to discredit President Bush and our war effort betrays the troops whom all of these slimey hypocrites keep swearing that they "support......but...."
Thanks!
