CNN banner: Pentagon is beefing up security. No specific threat.
[And no sign of terrorism, of course.]
Why are they doing that if there is no threat?
Do you remember - did the Pentagon raise security after the bombings in London 2 weeks ago? IIRC, security was not raised. At least not publicly. Correct me if I'm wrong. Just the rail transportation alert was heightened to orange on 7/7, but not pentagon/DC.
