Years ago there was a radio talk show called "Open Mind" which was heard in th L.A. area.
I spoke with DeForrest Kelly who was called by the host as one of two 'experts' on UFOs.
Wish I had a tape of that. He was pleasant and let the other expert do the heavy lifting in the conversation.

Experts on terrorism and nuclear weaponry, author Steve Quayle and Shane Conner The radio is on all the time anyway, so we have kind of a link between bigfoot, crop circles, backpack nukes, shadow gov't, death asteroids, Planet X, earth changes, global superstorm and avian flu brought on by hearing these things while in a near sleep state.

I'm not tuning into Coast to Coast AM unless George Noorey does at LEAST 2 hours of constant Aruba Missing Teen coverage.

James Doohan, best known for playing the engineer "Scotty" on the original Star Trek series, passed away today at the age of 85.Aw, DAMMit... and to think I met the man a few years back, too.
After Kirk himself, Scotty was the one I watched the series for.
He was also a WW2 veteran, a brave man on and off the screen.
If they allowed booze over here in Iraq, I'd drink to the man's memory.

'Tis a sad day Sarge, I think everyone loved Scotty.
And WOW you met him, wh00p!!!!!
So nice to see and chat with you. I miss the dance. Oh, BTW, "It Was a Dark and Stormy Night," is currently making its way across the USA. I let my dearest friend borrow it to read at night when she stops to rest.

Captain Kirk's classic order, "Beam me up, Scotty"
Except Kirk never said "Beam me up, Scotty" on the original Star Trek series.

Nah, actually Noory is turning the show into a Bush-bashing festival.

Doohan was a World War 2 Vet. One of the first to land at Normandy. He was a true hero, taking SIX bullets including one that cost him a finger and another that would've killed him but for his silver cigarette case. He was 19 when he joined up.
