I've been a big backer of Musharraf since Bush gave him his come to Jesus conversation after 9/11. And I understand his population is hardly pro-western.

But these islamic schools are the problem. Our problem and his problem.

When this kind of incident happens, Musharraf needs to bulldoze the school. You can't pussyfoot around the source of the problem.

Those Wahibi madrassas exist in many mosques here in America. All they lack is the open terrorist device training and the AK-47 training grounds.

But the use of "summer camps" will do, and the Muslims have summer camps as well.

The problem lies in the core incompatibilities between Islam and Western civilization. Islam, until it renounces its demand for supremacy enforced by neck cuttings, war, and reduction of non-believers to dhimmitude IS ANTITHETICAL TO AMERICA.

No National Council of Churches blather, no George Bush platitudes about "this is not a war against Islam", blah, blah, blabber, blabber - nothing will make any difference. Unreconstructed, unreformed Islam is going to continue to be as bloody, as savage, and as totally unacceptable to the West as it was during the Crusades.

Islam must conform to the modern world, lest it drag us back into the unspeakably dirty, cruel, impoverished excuse for civilization which most Islamic societies now are.
