It's a great tool. We are currently testing using text to speech converters for a lot of our training to mp3 format to send to our road warrior sales personnel.

The church of which I am a member is actively looking at making the Sunday sermons available as podcasts.

Rush Limbaugh has already laid claim to a fair number of the above sales of iPods/MP3 players due to the success of his podcasting (accurate or not).

Someone checking out our history Podcasts just recently sent us a list of his church's sermons which they now have up on Podcasts.

The person who sent us the information is the one placing the sermons could probably give you some advice. If you want to contact him, let me know and I'll send you his e-mail

I got sick of listening to talk radio and having 5 minute commercial breaks every 10-12 minutes. TiVo for radio.

Dittos. I find myself not wanting to listen to talk radio because it's 50% adds.

I think when Apple releases the next verion of iTunes I expect it to include the ability to handle subscription Podcasts, something not available now. I wouldn't be surprised that Microsoft will soon update Windows Media Player so it also supports subscription-based .MP3 file downloads (remember, Podcasts are essentially broadcasts recorded in .MP3 format that are available for download).
