Final Issue of Aerospace Projects Review
Aerospace projects Review ^ | July 20, 2005 | Me!

The major and minor articles are done; now I'm just wrapping things up and doing final editting. This issue will be more than three times larger than normal; as a consequence, it will cost more to print and ship. I hope to get it to the printer by the end of the week. To help pay for the printing cost, I'm selling them in advance for lower than the full price: $14 each (for US orders) rather than $18, which will be the price for US orders after they are printed (that might go up, depending...).

The three main articels in this issue are: "Raumwaffe, 1946" which covers *all* the A-series rockets from A-1 to A-12; the Sanger antipodal bomber, von Brauns early concept for a space station and several other projects, real and not-so-real, for spaceflight developed in wartime Germany. Copiously illustrated with detailed engineering schematics and all-new illustrations.

"Boeing WS-110A" An article by Dennis Jenkins on the Boeing designs that competed to become the XB-70. This includes subsonic and supersonic concpets; conventional and bizarre designs; single stage and multi-stage aircraft; even hydrogen fueled designs. A great many detailed drawings including three-views and inboard profiles.

"X-Wings" Covers the designs of a number of VTOL aircraft with X-shaped rotor-wings. Includes a number of never-before-published three-views of fighter and naval patrol versions.

The Aerospace Projects Review website has not yet been updated to include the latest. However, you can get a preview of these articles here: http://www.up-ship.com/

If you'd like a copy and are in the US, and are not an APR subscriber, for $14 the issue can be yours. PayPal is preferred. For Paypal payments, send $14 per issue to:

scottlowther AT ix DOT netcom DOT com (make sure to de-spamify the address)

Checks, money orders and (unwisely) cash can be sent to: Scott Lowther 11305 W 10400 N Thatcher, UT 84337

The $14 offer will go up once the issues are printed and on hand... with luck, about a week. If there is non-US interest, let me know and I'll work out what the postage difference will be.

TOPICS: Your Opinion/Questions
KEYWORDS: bombers; space; xwing
OK, this is a pure vanity, advertising my own publication. But hey, what the heck... figured there might be some interested in it, and it *is* the last issue.
