could open Bush to criticism that he did not do enough for diversity You know, howling like this could be a good set up for Janice Rogers Brown.

Good point ...
Let them yell, shriek , howl about that Bush didn't nominate a nominee of " Diversity " .. and let this go on and on in the MSM, the talking shows of the Liberal taking heads.
Let them complain that his choice is not divers enough, then ?
As another seat on the Supreme Court opens up, nominate Janice Rodgers Brown, force this nomination on them ( in retrospect of their yelling, and complaining ) and they will look like fools and hypocrites if they oppose her appointment.
Imagine the gnashing of teeth of the liberals, dems on that ?

You know, howling like this could be a good set up for Janice Rogers Brown. Absolutely. She can replace Rehnquist, with Scalia nominated as the new Chief Justice.
Then Luttig can replace the ancient Stevens, and after that it won't even matter if Gonzales is picked to replace the ill Ginsburg.
The Scalia Court:
Antonin Scalia - Conservative
Clarence Thomas - Conservative
John Roberts - Conservative
Janice Rogers Brown - Conservative
Michael Luttig - Conservative
Anthony Kennedy - Conservative/Moderate
Alberto Gonzales - Conservative/Moderate
David Souter - Moderate/Liberal
Stephen Breyer - Liberal
It looks (and thinks) like America...LOL!
